04.   KUMARA SATHAKAM

 

04.01   Don’t venture into anything that your elders dislike and dead against it.

 

04.02   Your family’s financial position must be kept secret whether you are wellof are in a deligent state.

 

04.03   If elderly scholars and persons come to your house, stand up from the seat, as a mark of respect, saying namaskaram to them, If you do not do so you would be thought by them a fool and uncultured fellow and devoid of manners.

 

04.04   Consider your sister as your mother, give her the same respect. Never hurt her. Her blessings too make you shine bright ever in life. Give the same respect to a lady who had taken care of you, as a maid when you were a baby in months.

 

04.05   Don’t shower spray on your body without having a bath before, don’t throw your wet clothes rashly here and there.

 

04.06   Never belittle – a disabled, differently abled crippled person, not a fair – looking one, - poor man, the illiterate;  praise – worthy people, God, sacred scriptures, my boy.

 

04.07   When all people are asleep, do not keep awake alone. Or else you would likely to be in a dangerous situation.

 

04.08   Wake up early before sun rise, do whatever work you are supposed to do perfectly without any loss of time.

 

04.09   Do not rebel against your teacher preceptor or men in power that (who) provide you with food and shelter, do not give up good traditions and conventions or traditions in vogue, around you.

 

04.10   Do not continue to repent for the past things or deeds, commissions or omissions; never praise bad people, do not get worried about what you cannot successfully accomplish. Do not venture into inappropriate deeds. Or efforts without weighing its pros and cons.

 

04.11   Do not ease yourself, urinate defecate before a temple, cow shelters, on public places as that causes nuisance, to one and all; besides pollute the area with unbearable stench leading to public health sanitation hazards too

 

04.12   Over-anger, over self confidence, over-weight; changing mindset frequently; idleness are considered to be In-born traits of mean fellows.

 

04.13   When dining in a function, or company among many men or guests, with separate special costly dishes for you especially, is said to be trying to consuming poison.

 

04..14  Can any crop expected to be grown from a piece of land WITHOUT our planting seedlings in a proper manner efforts. So also without our hard efforts and concentration nothing will come out successfully, anywhere in the world.
